I had the southwestern chicken sandwich which was surprisingly decent. I had low expectations due to the low star rating, but this is comparable to my favorite guac chicken sandwich near my alma mater. The chicken was cooked well and seasoned well and the guac definitely was not homemade but honestly, not that bad. They added sprouts without a surcharge when requested which is awfully nice. The bread, which I was expecting some oversized, dry, overbearing kaiser roll was actually pretty decent. The pickle is nothing to rave about, but it wasn't a rubbery neon green Vlasic either. The garden salad was quite impressive! Boardwalk food tends to be mediocre and caters to a very middle-America crowd but it was prepared beautifully with fresh sprouts, crisp cukes and red onions, and juicy red tomato slices. It was massive too! I was totally expecting some iceberg lettuce abomination but we got a pretty decent salad. Fish tacos I would definitely pass on (nothing taco-like about it other than the shape. Eat a real taco and then cry about this one) but it wasn't "terrible"- the fish served by itself could have been decent in fish and chips but did not belong in a store-bought flour tortilla with shredded cabbage and mayo.

This place is friendly and welcoming. Staff is nice and attentive. Lots of regular specials. Large outdoor seating area. But.. The bathrooms open directly into the eating area. Very unappetizing. And the food is fairly average. We ordered s hummus plate and the hummus was crumbly. And the broccoli looked unwashed. The mozzarella sticks were ok. The fish and chips was eh. Fish had no taste. And fresh fries were bland. And there were thousands of them in the basket. A fried shrimp basket was likewise tasteless.

  • Maddy L.

We started the meal off with mac n cheese bites and mozzarella sticks. Both were soo good! I loved the mac n cheese bites sauce, it tasted like srircha and ranch(?). I ordered the onion and mushroom cheesesteak and it was good - nothing great about it..plus they come with chips and the bags are less than half full. I will give them that the sub is completely filled with meat though. We also ordered captain morgan drinks and the captain + diet coke I got tasted more like diet coke than any captain. The shots we took also tasted watered down. It's a good place to go if you're in the area but not necessarily a place I would recommend. It does the job but eh.

The service is very quick and nice which makes up for the fact that the food is okay for the city's only deli. Just don't expect it to be a New York style deli and you won't be disappointed. They also deliver on the beach which is a really big plus for the beach bums. Very good bloody Mary's!

My cousin got the Granny Smith sandwich back in 1999 and it's been on my mind since. I found it on the menu that was in a welcome book at the house we are renting on school lane. My cousin and I just got the sandwiches (mine without onions) and it was hands down the BEST thing I have ever eaten!!!! The honey mustard mixed with the crisp apples made me want to get a second one! Thankfully we have the rest of the week in rehobeth so I will be getting one when I introduce my mom and sister to it! Mmmmmmm!!!!!!

Stopped in her twice on my last visit. Chose to sit inside on both visits though there is covered outside seating. Enjoyed the ruben & tots, along with a Stella cider (and many different beers to chose from). My girls loved their sandwiches. With our second visit the use of salt was a bit heavier but thankfully we are salt fans. Service is efficient, prices are reasonable. The TVs give a variety of sporting events to take in. My tweens both give it a big thumbs up so it's a definite keeper for our family

Ordered take out from the Lewes Location for lunch. Ordered a Santa Fe Salad. It's not on the actual online menu but it was on a special menu. I knew this cuz a friend told me! Food was huge. Well worth the price. They are known for the death fries! Which I did not get near! Even though they sounded amazing!

Food is good at arena's. However, they won't deliver to a Rehoboth address. Claimed it was "too far." Why even have delivery?

Death fries and hot tots are on point! So is the BLT, great place to eat and hang out!

Really liked this place! The wait staff was fabulous and the happy hour was amazing! The half price appetizers were really good and the sandwiches were stuffed beyond belief! We asked for two plates to split a sub and they not only brought the plates but an extra bag of chips and pickle. When the happy hour was about to end, the waiter came over to ask us if we wanted to squeeze in more drinks or food on special! They have theme nights with different items. We will be returning again- this week!

Fun atmosphere and our bartender Kevin was great! Will definitely come back next time we are in town. Loved the happy hour specials.

Great place for a reasonably priced meal daily money savings specials. Thursday is $5 sandwiches when most any sandwich on the menu is $5. Wait staff excellent. Atmosphere ok. Pet friendly outside seating.

Great little place to grab a satisfying meal for cheap. I had the cheesy tater tots and they were amazing! If you only go for the tots, you won't be disappointed.

Came here for the Death Fries (fries topped with melted cheese, ranch dressing, bbq sauce, and bacon - holy heart attack!), and had a really great time! The service was pretty spectacular, which I wasn't expecting from a "deli." They are more like a misguided bar with decent food and a GREAT beer selection. Must try: Hot Tots. These tater tots are smothered with melted cheese, jalepenos, and a siracha ranch that will have your mouth watering/crying/begging for more. Good stuff! Morgan was a wonderful server - we were impressed. So attentive and helpful!

While the food was okay the service was terrible. The sign read "seat yourself." There were a number of empty tables but they all had yet to be bussed. We waited 10 minutes or so with numerous staff walking by and not doing anything before walking inside and politely asking if we could sit at the tables that hadn't been bussed. The server said, "We're understaffed today so you're just going to have to wait" very rudely. She then later said right behind us to another staff member, "Wow, these customers are SO impatient." We then waited a while (close to 30 minutes) to be served our food even though it was off peak time for lunch. We got nachos and a shrimp salad wrap. The shrimp salad wrap was very good. The nachos, however, were a waste past the top layer. 80% of the chips had no cheese or other toppings on them. Then just to get the check took more than 20 (I timed it) which was also frustrating. I understand that the restaurant may have been understaffed which is certainly hard for the employees. But the rudeness with the customers was still unacceptable.

Come down and get the Hot Tots, tator tots with bacon, siracha ranch, cheese, and jalapeños. Truly a fantastic bar snack. Devoured in 7.5 minutes. Followed up with a Yuengling! Bar food made awesome!

Not a good experience. Soup was late and cold. Mrs Paul's breaded fish triangles for fish & chips. Sent out some aioli instead of tartar sauce but would not replace fish covered with the aoli. Undercooked fries. Ran out of pretzels for crab pretzel app. Been going for years. Disappointed how awful our dinner was; and no one gave a second thought to try harder or make it up.

Went here for date night with the hubby. I like that its kinda offset, without the hustle & bustle of the strip. We sat outside at 11pm, so the breeze was nice n it turned out to be a peaceful n romantic evening. The chicken nachos were good but average. Don't pay extra for the guacamole. I love guac n this is not what I'm used to. It was pastey, a purée baby food consistency. I prefer mine a bit chunky n flavorful n this guac was neither of the two. The sandwiches however were to die for!!!! My husband must've said at least ten times how great this buffalo chicken cheesesteak was. I ordered the Reuben's Reuben, which was scrumptious. Coleslaw n sour kraut together? Who would have thought these would compliment each other so well. All in all, yummy food, nice atmosphere, definitely would come back!

Haven't been to the Rehoboth Ave location, but the location on Rt 1 is awful. We sat outside and had trouble finding seats that were NOT covered with bird crap. The food was all frozen pre-packaged stuff including the obviously frozen burger patty. Fast food places charge low prices because they used frozen patties. Why go here and pay $9 for one? The noise level was crazy too because it was right on the highway. Never again.

A vacation tradition. Food is simple, American fare and they have a decent selection of vegetarian options. It is usually a bit crowded, but the service is always personable and attentive. Huge beer selection.

First, this place is not a deli. It's a very laid back restaurant that serves good with big flavor and all prices. We were looking for cheap eats for dinner. I had a chicken and dumpling soup it was delicious. Not even salty. My husband ordered a portobello burger but got a veggie burger. He said it was great. It was $3 Yuengling night. So that was ordered. Our dinner came to just over $13! Good deal and good eats! We will be back. Gotta try the desserts next time

Likely one of the worst places in Rehoboth. No imagination. Everything is fried, and prepackaged and frozen. Even the peanut butter and jelly for kids came out in a package! Come on... Buy a jar and some jelly and make a sandwich. Our waitress struggled to be was mildly pleasant and had no clue about the menu! No excuse for being this lazy.

Sat (ourseveles) outside on the crowded patio near a very large, very loud, over head fan. My husband ordered Uncle Charlie's (the server had no idea who Uncle Charlie is/was.) fish sandwich, came with a bag of potato chips. Which seemed ok at first bite yet soon acquired a "fishy taste." I got the crab cake platter and non remarkable, most likely frozen fries. I had ask the server about the CC before ordering. Brooke assured me they were "good, little filler, and lumps of crab meat." She struck out times three. It WAS seasoned well. Cold, filler-full, and small pieces/strands of crab. Unfortunately, for me, we had a parking meter ticking away so I ate it. She circled back to the table after we were clearly finished to ask "how was everything" after we explained, no mention of replacing or comping. We did receive the food in a very timely manner. But I would have traded a longer wait for better quality.

This was a very pleasant surprise! The food and service were quite good. We had their nachos (signature dish) and they were insane!! Loads of cheese, salsa, guacamole, jalapeño peppers and sour cream. I had the french dip which was salty deliciousness. The hubby had the cheese steak which was also great. The kids had pb&j and chicken fingers. They picked at them, but my kids aren't big lunch eaters. Bathrooms were very clean.

Granted it was the 4th of July but service was incredibly slow. Waiter brought out soup with the sandwiches an hour after we sat down.

Local restaurant and bar with a great atmosphere and service. Best sandwich is the Reuben. This qualifies as the best Reuben I've ever had. It has coleslaw and sauerkraut. Perfect combo!

I love the Italian Stallion sandwich. The food is always good here and the setting is festive. There is outdoor seating. The wait staff are lovely.

A deli it ain't, but Arena's still deals in the simple sandwiches and munchables that can help you occupy an afternoon in Rehoboth. As a beer bar, Arena's needs some work, offering as many domestics as craft beer, though there's more than enough here to work with. The food, too, though sounding pretty ordinary on the menu, was a notch above once it arrived at the table. The fried pickles, for example, were well-breaded and obviously fried fresh in house. Ditto that for the crab cake sandwich, and while I'm not the biggest fan of deep fried crab cakes, this one had such an abundance of crab that I didn't mind. Throw it on an ordinary roll with some tarter sauce and a small bag of Utz and it's a boring lunch, but good where it needs to be. I think I would continue to explore what the area has to offer, but if someone wanted to go back to Arena's, I wouldn't mind.

After looking at menus at other spots nearby, and not being able to find a place to satisfy all four of our palates, we found Arena's after a bit of hunting, as it's nestled in a mini-mall off the main drag (look for the "149" sign) on the sidewalk). FOOD Two of us had the fish tacos. The fish was okay but the cabbage was overly-drenched; this, combined with the soft taco it was on made for a textureless, bland experience. Adding hot sauce and crumbled tostito-chips introduced much-needed texture and flavor. The cheesesteak was a "B" according to our meat expert, as were the chicken bits by the one who likes little. Beer selection was great, but with a 3-hour drive ahead of me, was not an option. SERVICE Service was very good. Fairly attentive, and reasonably friendly. AMBIANCE Typical for the locale (two blocks from the beach), it was very casual. A huge TV with sports on was up on the wall. Lots of pics of regulars abound; obviously, it has a local, local following. NOTE: Parking can be a challenge; prepare to walk a bit if you're not lucky. SUMMARY While not thrilling, it was a decent value with prices not overly-inflated and family-friendly. I wouldn't avoid it, but I wouldn't seek it out, especially with so much competition nearby.

Picked up lunch to go today. Ordered the special sandwich special Book um Dano. Sounded good on the special board. Walked back, starving, dug in and roll was stale! Dried up nasty round roll. Turkey was really salty, bacon not so good. Crappy chips too. Pickle would have been a nice bonus if there was one although wouldn't save this lunch. I ate here a few times last year. This year, one and done. Time to find another place.

I have been going there since i was kid, lots of good, classic american soul food. Really good wings, great nachos, and awesome sandwiches. My personal favorite is the Hungry Surfer; and although the Italian Stallion sub has been removed they will still make it, which is a great sign in working with customers. Great wait staff!

NOT IMPRESSED. They got big ads in the Dining Guides for Dewey/Rehoboth Advertising they DELIVER and are open until 1AM. Called for Delivery at 10PM and was told "We don't delivery after 5PM". HUH??? Who eats dinner by 5PM any more. TOTAL FAIL. A place ending delivery at 5PM is un-heard-of. What's the point?

  • Brian B.

Cheesesteak and cheese fries. Small fries was huge. Enough for 2. Cheesesteak was loaded with meat, only 8 inches long but more meat than many places I have tried. Lost a star because my first 2 beer choices were out. Table was available quickly, service was very fast.

I wouldn't come back unless it was just for drinks or I was meeting friends. Service was great but the food was not. I ordered the fish and chips, check the frozen food isle at your local grocer for the output. My wife ordered the crab melt, it was over cooked and replaced with marginal improvement. Steamed shrimp were also over cooked - mushy. The facility, staff, menu and prices were fine but the quality of our food didn't make the cut for a return visit.

Great menu and good food. Came upon this place while walking around and turned out to be a gem, good food and decent prices and helpful staff. We put an order in without pickles.. it came with pickles no big deal we pulled them off, the waitress saw this (we did not complain) she immediately took it back and they mad e another. They knew we were sharing a number of items and brought them in separate baskets... very helpful staff without being asked.

Lunch is awesome! I can't wait to go and have the California Sandwich! Avocado, sprouts, and turkey. Yum yum! My husband loves the jalpano poppers and the ruben! On my wedding day we ordered sandwiches for all the bridesmaids... Perfect choice!

Went here for trivial while on vacation the trivia guy was pretty annoying but had great nachos and a great beer selection. We sat at the bar and had a great bartender! Would go back just not for trivia.

After a day on the beach and walking down rehoboth ave checking out a bookstore and other shops we began to build up an appetite. I suggested Arena's since we were at the other location and had good deli sandwiches and the selection of beer was good. This visit did not disappoint. I did the build your own sandwich option and had a torpedo roll with turkey, bacon, avocado, sprouts and american cheese with thousand island dressing. They had the Evolution seasonal on tap which is Jaques au Lantern, a pumpkin ale and it was very tasty. I am sure I will be back next time we visit Rehoboth since our server was very friendly and the food came in minutes - an attribute a parent can appreciate when you have a 2.5 month old who is fussing.

Had dinner here on vacation with my roommate and his kids...being vegan, he and I both had a veggie burger with guacamole, a side of fries, and we also got a hummus platter. The burger was good, nothing stellar or memorable about it, but good, as were the fries. The hummus platter was great, and came not only with pita, but also fresh veggies (broccoli, carrots, celery, olives). The kids got chicken fingers and nachos...the "small" nacho platter turned out to be huge, so there were plenty of leftovers there. Although I didn't get a chance to try any, the beer selection was huge, and they carry my favorite summer beer, Leinenkugel's summer shandy. Any place that carries that is ok in my book.

We love Arena's!! Both locations!! They have a wonderful kids menu fir our grandson and he loves the grilled cheese! We also head there for wing night and beer selection, not to mention the wonderful sandwiches. The Rt 1 location is our fav for outside dining and a great breakfast sandwich !!

Arenas used to be a place that had a great Thursday night Mexican special with nicely priced tacos, nachos and margaritas. Now the place that claims it is where the "locals hang" got rid of the one attractive feature of the place and is now just an overpriced sandwich joint with watered down margaritas, expensive nachos (same price, much better across the street at Dos Locos) and no Mexican options on Mexican night. The place used to be a regular stop for us year-round but now it it just another tourist place with unfriendly waitresses and pricey mediocre food. Stay away.

Lunch today ( monday) and stopped at Arena's on our way to the outlets. It was a cute cafe with tables and plenty of seating at the bar. I liked the self-serve coffee bar. I ordered the Yummy Hummy ( hummus with pita) and my hubby got the 1/2 sandwich and soup combo: Classic T and Chili. My pita was excellent; crisp cucumbers and red onion with tomatoes on warm pita bread. The hubby could not complain; good portion for a half of sandwich and the chili was warming. The service was great and the place was really clean. Definitely recommend.

Loved that we would eat outside with our dogs. Food comes out quick and is great! There's a good selection of vegetarian sandwiches. The crabcake sandwich was delish and there's a large assortment of deli sandwiches, all come in a basket with chips. Great lunch place!

  • Lauren W.

I've never understood the huge draw this restaurant gets. To me, it's just a bar with a larger than bar-average sandwich selection, but mostly without any nicer dinner selections. I was close to giving it 2 stars.. but my second visit I was lucky enough to get a table outside, which is my favorite thing ever. It was pleasant enough to bump it to 3 stars. First visit was a Thursday, happened to be their "mexican fiesta" day of specials. 5 dollar nachos and 75 cent tacos. Obviously you can't beat the price, but nothing was very tasty. The nachos felt like they just opened a bag of tortilla cheaps, a bag of shredded mexican cheese, a jar of salsa and a can of pickled jalepenos. On my second visit, we went Wednesday on their half price sandwich night, and felt overwhelmed trying to pick a sandwich because everything did look really great on the menu. This was probably my downfall, I picked too quickly and ordered a standard turkey sandwich. The sandwich had avocado, monterey jack, tomatoes, and sprouts on their whole grain bread. I substituted ranch for the mayo as well. The sandwich was super dry to me, mostly from the bread and a high turkey to very low avocado ratio. In fairness, my friend got the reuben which was not dry at all and pretty tasty. Although just in case anyone from their kitchen is reading this, I think it'll help to cut the corned beef against the grain because it was pretty chewy. So overall, I did like the bar and would go again. The food was good enough, and definitely pretty cheap. I would definitely skip their regular sandwiches and go right to the seafood options, even if they're not half priced. They had a lot of shrimp, crab and fish options that looked really good. And since you're close to a boardwalk, why get anything other than seafood? Also, service wasn't bad. Our girl was nice enough, but we were in a super busy outside section so she was obviously too busy to get much done. Oh, and also I saw on their website they do free delivery, which is a nice plus in Rehoboth so you don't have to fight for street parking.

A brief stop here on the way to other places based on a reccomendation from locals. Pretty decent dive-bar. Great beer selection by the bottle (not so much on draft). The $2.00 quarter lb shimp appetizer was well done- would have gone for more but they ran out! Looked like the band might have been pretty good, but we didn't stay long enough to find out. They're on the list for further "on-premise" evaluation next trip.

Absolutely over-rated and horrible. Worst fish tacos I've ever tasted! Blech! Same with those nasty chili fries, a double blech-blech! SKIP IT FOR SURE!

The food was decent. We just had a variety of sandwiches and wraps. The server was rude towards the end - ironically when we were filling in our tip amount. There was outdoor seating as well as indoor seating and a bar. Bathrooms were small, but clean. Ok for a quick bite to start the day, I would not eat dinner here. Too many other better places in town.

Our concierge at the Crosswinds Motel recommended this place. After searching it on Yelp Mobile, I noticed that my redheaded twin that was seperated from me at birth, Stef W., gave it 5 stars, and that was all the convincing I needed. Arena's is: 1) an awesome place to watch sports - TVs everywhere 2) a restaurant with amazing sandwiches. The sandwiches are about $8 and we had the Hungry Surfer but the Hungry Kayaker ( yelp.com/biz_photos/1jQJ… ) was the real winner - melted cheese, sweet peppers, balsamic vinaigrette. What can I say? I'm a sucker for melted cheese 3) a great place to get your drink on - tons of beers and many specials. It was only noon so I opted not to try one. 4) a place to dine al fresco, i.e., outdoors on a patio. Plenty of seats and shade. 5) a place with a coupon. $1 off in the Rehoboth beach guides that you can find in your hotel/motel. Arena's is not: 1) a good place for a date. The various TVs were vying for our attention. 2) a place you need to order fries - the chips that come with the sandwich are very good 3) in DC. So get a group together and road trip up to Rehoboth Beach for some good eats, and make sure Arena's is on your list of places to gorge. They open daily at 11am.

This place was recommended by my in laws neighbor because of the fresh sandwiches and the outdoor patio that allows dogs. I had the fish tacos and I would say they were pretty darn good and recommend them to anyone. The fish was fresh and battered and deep fried to perfection. I will have to say that the service was slow as it took forever to order---definitely not a place to go if you are in a rush. The decor inside was kind of disappointing but we were all satisfied with our meals so we will probably be back.

A great place for a casual meal. We got there a little too early for happy hour, but they had a huge beer selection. Service was great-came when we needed him but never bothered us or pushed us to buy alcohol. A couple vegetarian options, which our pointed out on the menu so you don't have to read through every item's description. My husband ordered the veggie burger and I had a shrimp wrap, the latter I recommend-it was perfect; not too heavy but a lot of flavor. True about the chips the sandwich comes with-you'll like 'em, no need to sub for fries.

The California and turkey Reuben were delicious! If the potato chips were crunchier, Arena would have gotten 5 stars. Our server was friendly and responsive!

We stumbled upon this local gem on a rainy day at the beach. Lucky us! With crap weather what is a girl left to do but shop and/or drink? We did both. Walking in the rain was getting old when one of my friends went in to Arena's to use the ol' pisser and we found our spot for the next 4 hours. We sat at the small but friendly bar and drank our microbrews and domestic beers on tap. The bartender was nothing but nice even tho we were clearly not locals. It got filled with locals for the Wed. night 1/2 price sandwich night in which we gladly joined in and found the food to hit the spot after a few beers. The interesting hippie guy from the local head shop came in and sat next to us. We all had a good conversation and met some really cool local peeps. Good times! I will def go back next time in RB.

  • Courtney R.

Motherlovin' delicious. This came recommended to me by the same friend who recommended Earl's in Arlington. This chick knows a good sandwich! We started with the nachos which, according to Arena's menu, were voted "best nachos in Rehoboth Beach!" I disagree, and the only other nachos I've had in RB are Zoggs, which were 10 times better. I ordered the Duncan, a turkey reuben with kraut AND cole slaw AND thousand island. It wasn't hard to handle--in fact it was easily managed and was beyond tasty. I'll be back--the location is great. The bill was a little high, so if you're looking for a quick $5 beach snack avoid it (except on Wednesdays they do half-price sandwiches after 5 p.m.) unless you want to drop $10 or more. Looks like Arena's has live music and karaoke, so it could be a fun night-starter.

I enjoyed coming here a few times for a reasonably priced lunch this past time I was in Rehoboth. This place seems pretty local and has ample indoor and outdoor seating. My friend enjoyed the beer selection but I just stuck to water since it was pretty hot this past week. I liked the California club and thought 7.99 was a fair price. The service was pretty good too.

The food is good -- but it takes at least an hour to get on a busy morning. Service is rude at best. We ordered take out and seemed to burden the cashier by the mere act of seeking a menu. It was a combination of attitude and indifference that made my decision not to return. Even for a decent breakfast sandwich.

Update: it seems that the service here has gotten worse. The food is still great but you'll have to wait a little longer for your food and drinks. It's not because of business, because we've been when they're dead. Still a favorite, though!

Had a quick lunch, the sandwiches are real big and tasty, the beer was cold and an ok price (not great) but there a TON of flies outside. The menu had a lot of good sandwich options, and specials start at 4pm.

1/2 lb of peel and eat shrimp and a pitcher of beer for just $10. Now that's what I call happy hour.

Awesome 4.99 desserts! Chocolate pie is delicious! They have Guinness!

We ate outside and had nachos - the food was okay. It was nice to eat outside and there were a lot of people enjoying the evening - some with kids, some with dogs, etc. All in all, I would recommend going here for lunch but probably not dinner. The service was great -

The sandwiches were very good. Portions were large. Dogs on outside patio were annoying.

Dog friendly, granny smith apple sandwich is always fantastic. We always stop by for lunch during our stays in Rehoboth or Lewes, DE.

This place is nice and convenient. I was staying in Dewey for a week with family and we heard about the Mexican night. Can't beat 99 cent tacos! We came back for $5 sandwich day on Thursday. My brother and I, who are both vegetarians, lived the selection available to us. They don't have veggie tacos, but the nachos were awesome! Check out the specials here!

I will often visit Arena's multiple times a week, and yes, maybe I have been known to go twice in one day. Their rotating daily specials are made even greater by the fact that the food is just so awesome. All the ingredients are fresh, and the portion sizes are perfect. They have several veggie options, including the apple/cheddar sandwich that I adore. Half price night on Wednesday lets you get a veggie burger covered in good guacamole for under $4! Even though it's a deli, I would say that the biggest draw, at least for me, is the excellent plate of nachos. The beer selection is next on the list (Smuttynose!) followed by great bloody marys (best deal on Sundays) and margaritas. Arena's cafe location on Rt 1 is also awesome, with the same great tasting food, good deals, and really friendly service.

I swung down to Rehoboth last night and popped into Arena's for a few beers and a sammy...this is one of my favorite bars in Rehoboth because the people who work there are super cool and down-to-earth, the atmosphere is chill and the food is awesome. Keep up the great work, Arena's, you guys/girls rock!

It is where the locals go, and a great place to go for good solid inexpensive bar food. Great beer selection, friendly staff, excellent sandwiches, good entertainment.

This place now goes on the must visit list when coming to Rehoboth. It is a small sit down place in a little mall off the main strip (I think the little mall is called Villages at the Beach). They have a variety of deli sandwiches and other lunchy type stuff. I saw they make a huge plate of nachos, which I will get next time. I had the Italian Stallion, a sandwich with Italian cold cuts, sweet peppers and provolone. They also have a nice variety of beer. There was a large screen TV, great for watching the olympics during a nasty rainstorm. They have a kids menu too with PB&J and Bologna and Cheese besides the usual chicken tenders.

Where the locals hang! No, I'm serious. Go out to Rehoboth in the off season and this place still packs it in. Good spot to catch the game, have some Nachos or a great sandwich. Excellent beer selection and the occasional live music. All around good spot.

Very impressive beer selection. The super casual atmosphere is right up my alley. Had the nachos which are just gooey comfort goodness. The crab melt was good but not great. I think I'd probably opt for one of the sandwiches next time. If I were local I imagine I'd be in here at least once a week.

Just wanted to echo all the love that this place is getting. There are plenty of times when I want to get adventurous in Rehoboth, but for those times that I don't want to risk it, I know Arena's is there with GREAT food, a GREAT bar selection, and a comfortable atmosphere.

Had never been to either. Went to the one on Route 1 yesterday for lunch. Food was so-so.. I've def had better. But the service sucked. We weren't greeted when we walked in, weren't sure whether or not we were supposed to seat ourselves. After asking they said "sit wherever you want". Once seated, half the time our waitress talked to us it was while she was walking away with her back to us. Once we got food, she seemed to disappear. We had to flag down the guy tending to the breakfast buffet to go find her. Needless to say, not stellar.

Best sandwiches and beer selection at the beach. I've been going to Arena's for about 8 years now and its a little gem in rehoboth, loved by locals. The nachos are great, as are the cheese fries and all of the sandwiches. I recommend the "Big Daddy" grilled. Go on Wednesday night for half price sandwiches (only during off season). Great staff who always remember you and the live music on the weekends is great especially when Mad Sweet Pangs plays an acoustic set.

Arena's is on my list of "must stop" places when we head to the Beach. Any weekend we're in Bethany, we always make a lunch pit stop in Rehoboth at Arena's. It's the perfect little/local dive bar, without the dive atmosphere. It's got great sandwiches (although they should maybe rethink only offering a choice of one side with the sandwiches (potato chips)), a great selection of beer, and flat screen tvs with sports on them (for those guy, guys who are into sports). If you're in the mood for an relatively inexpensive alternative to the beach food scene (high end restaurants or boardwalk pizza/fries) with the comforts of your local bar, Arena's is the place to go.
